Huelva: An Architectural Guide, the end result of a close and fruitful collaboration between the Ministry for Development, Land Use and Housing of the Government of Andalucía and the Huelva Architects’ Association, brings to a happy conclusion the collection of architectural guides designed to provide the general public with an accessible, up-to-date and accurate repository of information about the valuable architectural and urban heritage of the provincial capitals in the region of Andalucía.

This final publication in the series therefore draws to a close one of the key components of the Ministry’s active development policy, which also includes the Andalucian architecture awards, the organisation of exhibi- tions, the publication of other books and guides, and the promotion of various related activities.
