Olhão: Casa Dois - Architect: Atelier RUA

The project (2021) took place in an old warehouse, inside a block in the historic center of Olhão. A fishing town, with a strong Islamic influence, it presents an irregular and organic mesh of narrow streets and overlapping constructions, of recognized (cubist) volumetry.

The existing 2-storey building, high ceilings, vaulted ceilings and roof terrace, fits into the typology of popular architecture, which is intended to preserve, enhance and adapt.
